John Larkin Gives Career Day Talk in Columbus

By Al Colombo, ESC Media

Career day is an important part of a school student’s life, more than they probably know. For those who may not know what “career day” is, defined by Wikipedia, “Career Day often refers to a day in school where students learn about different careers and locations.”

I remember when I spoke at a career day event at my own children’s local K12 elementary school. It’s a rewarding experience, one that John Larkin, Senior Partner with ESC, knows so well as he given many talks to K12 students over the many years he’s been in business, adds Al Colombo, ESC media representative.

“I spent the morning attending career day at Avalon Elementary school (Columbus City Schools) on March 12th. I talked to 2nd and 3rd graders about Engineering. I partnered up with Brett Kramer, Kramer Engineering,” says John Larkin, Senior Partner with ESC of Greater Ohio. John says as a team they also spoke on HVAC, electrical, and alarm systems. “We spoke about how we design these systems in buildings as well as the importance of math and science,” John added.
