How local venues are handling the issue of #security | #ESC_LLC #School #Theater #Shooter | Texas senatorial hopeful turned presidential hopeful Beto O’Rourke, on his Twitter account, has been keeping a running count of deaths caused by gun violence since the Aug. 3 shootings at an El Paso Walmart.
As of Friday, Aug. 9, O’Rourke stated that the number was up to 252 people.
On that same Friday, Diane Hahn was preparing for a benefit concert at her vineyard and winery in Mackinaw. During the hours leading up to the event, she thought about the security of her venue and its patrons, as she always does.
