With its growing number of boutiques and restaurants, the City of Newburgh’s Liberty Street business corridor reminds the 36-year-old Ohio native of the hip Short North Arts District in Columbus, Ohio.
The similarity is one reason Knapik opened Oliver & Chatfield at 42 Liberty St. in February 2019. She started the small home goods, décor and gift shop in Cornwall in May 2018, where she and her husband moved after he got a West Point professor job.
