“Outdoor cameras, whether in a residential or commercial application, provides law enforcement with the necessary tool with which to solicit public help in identifying perpetrators, as in the case of this porch pirate,” says John Larkin, ESC Senior Partner. “Having a recording of the incident also increases the likelihood of a conviction and eventual restitution.”
In the video posted to Facebook, a man backs a silver van into a driveway, hops out and walks up to the porch. Police said he then stole packages. (read more)
