Job Description:
Our continued growth has produced a need for a talented Fire Sprinkler Contract Sales Representative to join our team. In this challenging and rewarding role the responsibilities will include professionally representing the company with respect to the promotion and sale of Fire Sprinkler system installations to various customers and end users within assigned territory and accounts.

About the role:
- Sell fire sprinkler service and contract work
- Accept bid invitations from GC’s to bid service and contract work
- Increase workload within the State of Ohio
- Assist in day to day operations and promotion of Electronic Systems Consultants
- On-site inspections and observations
- Liaison for clients with AHJ’s
- Establish or maintain relationships with clients to promote Electronic Systems Consultants
- Must be familiar with national, state and local codes
- Must have willingness to cold call and establish new relationships with potential customers
- Deliver new customer sales with standard and creative tactics
- Provide timely customer follow through
- Prepare drawings/submittals for awarded projects
- Complete material requests and send to purchasing
- Must be proficient with the latest material developments
- Must consult with office and field personnel to stay current with project conditions
- Present the project to the office and field personnel
- Review and price change orders
- Help build relationships through-out the GC community
- Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company service offerings.
- Close sufficient sales to exceed sales plan objectives.
- Familiar with reading blue prints and written specifications

Job Qualifications:
- 2 years Sales experience in a similar industry preferred.
- Previous sprinkler experience, including estimating and performing hydraulic calculations preferred.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
- Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Technical knowledge of sprinkler systems preferred.
- Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and organize well
- Proficient in the use of personal computers to include operating systems such as Windows/Office.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Ability and willingness to work as a team player; must be able to work well with others.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
