The blaze was put out quickly and the occupants of the room all got out, Lt. Brett Hallden said. Only minor injuries, from smoke inhalation, were reported, and no one was taken to the hospital.
“Between that and the smoke detectors and sprinklers, which worked the way they were supposed to, they were able to evacuate and we had it under control.”
